Sex pheromone paste for beet armyworm

Beet armyworm (Spodoptera exigua) has long been a very serious omnivorous pest, which is difficult to control due to notable pesticide resistance. Development of the slow-releasing pheromone product could play an important role within the integrated pest management and through attracting the adult males.

.The latest sex pheromone product from Chung Hsi Chemical, made in Taiwan.
. The chemically synthesized sex pheromones of female beet armyworm (Spodoptera exigua) can lure the males of the same species from nearby areas into the traps.
. It can be used for density monitoring of beet armyworm adults in the field.
. Microencapsulation technology is used to encapsulate pheromones to achieve the purpose of sustained release, making the effect longer lasting in the field, up to 2 months.
