ABOUT

Chung Hsi Chemical (since 1950) is the first professional household pesticide manufacturer in Taiwan.
We manufacture pesticides and introduce the IPM products, techniques and concepts from US, EU and Japan, to offer the local professionals and public needs. We wish to upgrade our technicians’ view and strategies, to catch up global trend.

Chung Hsi has been approved by GLP (2013) and ISO 9001 (Since 2006 and up-to-date) certifications.

We have great passion for promosing IPM and less-chemical concepts. Chung Hsi is the exclusive distributor of ENVU (former BAYER Environmental Science) and Sumitomo Chemical in Taiwan. We also distribute many equipment, such as B&G sprayers for the United States, pulsFOG thermal foggers from Germany, professinal light traps of PestWest from United Kingdoms, Termatrac termite detectors from Australia and many other rodent control and IPM products worldwide.

Chung Hsi also cooperate with some top Taiwanese universities to develope new pest control products, such as hydrophobic fire ant baits and environmental friendly sex pheromone lures for agricultural usage and received favorable comments by users.

GLP certification approved

The first approved company which in household insecticide manufacturing of Good Laboratory Practice certification in Taiwan.

2000

Historic Architecture Conservation Team

We organized serval local pest control companies to established a special Termidor®-Historic Architecture Conservation team and focus on termite control in local historic buildings including temples, old official buildings, etc.

1992

Pest control consult group

Pest control consulting group established and introduced global brand-new techniques, concepts and pesticides, to promote IPM and pesticide application safety concepts to Taiwanese pest control operators.

1963

Chung Hsi Chemical Plant, Ltd.

The company regrouped and renamed as Chung Hsi Chemical Plant, Ltd. The main products of Chung Hsi include many kinds of insecticides of household usage, such as aerosols, mosquito coils, electric mosquito liquids and many repellents since these days.

2016

Publishing department established

We cooperated with the experts to obtain their authorizations, then transferred and publicated their books into Traditional Chinese version. The contents including knowledge of the pests, control strategies and equipment, to be geared to international trends.

2006

ISO 9001 certification approved

Chung Hsi has set up computerized procedures for factory in the '90s, thus we approved by ISO 9001 certification every year since 2006 and update to the latest 2015 version

1994

Forums for museum and art gallery pest control

Chung Hsi introduced the technique of dry treatment into Taiwan for protecting ancient files in the museum, and assisted local pest control companies to organize the team of museum pest control.

1986

Focused on professional field

Chung Hsi cooperated with Japan since 1986 and started to manufacturing specific insecticides, then extent the profile into professional pest control industry.

Chung Hsi Agrochemical Plant

The Chung Hsi Agrochemical Plant was founded in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Chung Hsi produced insecticides for retail market.
