Chung Hsi has been the major bait provider in Taiwan for red imported fire ant (Solenopsis invicta) control since 2004. The Hydrophobic ant bait carrier is a new generation product which cooperated & developed by Chung Hsi and National Taiwan University, of which patented in Taiwan and US, provide moisture resistance capability to overcome the effectiveness loss due to moisture and rainfall after applying fire ant baits to the ground, but still keep its attractiveness to fire ant workers. Chung Hsi provides two different AIs RIFA baiting products: pyriproxyfen (IGR)& cypermethrin (toxicant) with the hydrophobic carrier, to perform the best control efficiency.
